about us

“Black Girl Money" started its journey as a humble Instagram page to promote financial literacy among black females. Fast forward a couple months and it has become a growing digital community across multiple platforms. The mission is to provide black women with the knowledge and tools they need to secure the bag and grow their wealth.

We produce various forms of digital content and resources that educate women on personal finance and business as well as start a conversation about money. This brand is for all the entrepreneurs, future She-E-O’S and every woman in between! We hope you enjoy our content and if you have any questions, comments or just want to say hello, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Anuoluwapo Adenuga, the founder of Black Girl Money, is a tech loving, luxury real-estate enthusiast and financial literacy advocate. With a deep passion for women's equality -and after struggling to find personal finance resources geared to her unique experience as a black woman, Anu decided to start Black Girl Money. Her aim is to address the lack of representation and the disheartening wealth inequality gap between black women and other groups in society. She is on a mission to enrich the lives of black women and girls all over the world by building a space for them to not only develop the skills and knowledge to generate wealth but also a community for them to share their experience with money.
